RGB Wins ‘Top IPO or M&A Candidate’ Award
SUNNYVALE, CA – October 16, 2007 - RGB Networks, the leader in network video processing, has received the ‘Top IPO or M&A Candidate’ award in this year’s Leading Lights Awards, which are awarded by Light Reading, a leading source of news and in-depth analysis covering the telecommunications industry.
RGB was one of four finalists in the ‘Top IPO or M&A Candidate’ category, which recognizes “the private company that most clearly has the management, products, and financial stability to launch a successful IPO or be acquired on its own terms within the next 12 months,” according to Light Reading’s website.
"Winning this award is a tremendous validation of RGB Networks and of the pivotal role our growing line of solutions plays in enabling cable, telecom and satellite providers to deliver increasingly personalized video content on demand and to any device," said Jef Graham, CEO of RGB Networks. "As we continue to execute to plan and to meet our milestones, this award will ideally help us attract more top engineering talent to further accelerate our progress as we deliver new innovations in video processing to our growing customer base."
RGB was presented the award at the Leading Lights Awards event, the evening of October 15 in New York City. Light Reading established its Leading Lights Awards in 2004 to recognize the telecommunications industry’s top public and private companies and their executives for their outstanding achievements in the industry.
