RGB NETWORKS APPOINTS EMEA SALES DIRECTOR TO
CONTINUE EXPANSION OF EUROPEAN MARKET PRESENCE

John Swannell brings extensive cable and telco experience to new role as
RGB’s Sales Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa

UNITED KINGDOM – May 8, 2007 – RGB Networks, the leader in network video processing, today announced the appointment of John Swannell as Sales Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).  Mr. Swannell joins RGB from Motorola Connected Home Solutions group, where he was responsible for regional sales and support in the UK and Ireland. Swannell’s recruitment marks RGB’s next step in expanding its sales and support operations throughout the EMEA region.

Prior to his time at Motorola, Mr. Swannell gained significant experience in the telco, cable and media markets through a number of senior roles, including positions at Terayon Communications, RiverDelta Networks - later acquired by Motorola Broadband Communications, 3Com UK Ltd. and Alcatel Data Networks. Swannell’s responsibilities have included the development and management of partner/reseller programs, developing and implementing market strategies for new and existing products and generating sales within the telco, cable and media markets.

RGB launched a presence in EMEA in January with the appointment of Sarah Hackforth, who joined RGB as Vice President of Sales for EMEA, and the opening of an office in the United Kingdom. With the appointment of Swannell, the company is accelerating the growth of its market presence in the EMEA region, while also adding field support staff. RGB has shipped over 1,400 units of its advanced Video Intelligence Architecture™ (VIA) family product and is now building on this strong Americas market acceptance by bringing its high density video processing solutions to the EMEA marketplace.
